Christmas Eve and The New Year

The New Year brings much anticipation for me. I am glad the holidays are over and I’m ready to focus on what’s next. The Christmas season always bring great things however and this year was no exception. Lake Pointe saw over 21,000 people attend Christmas Eve services across all our campuses. I know lives were changed and that is why all the work, the planning, the time away from family is all worth it.

I hope you enjoy watching the service.

In case you are wondering, there are 67 Christmas trees on stage. We were using 77 inputs, plus playbacks and returns. The orchestra is made up of players from the Dallas and Fort Worth symphonies. Each year they come and bless us with their amazing talents. It’s a great honor to have them with us. We were also blessed by having Jason Castro with us this season. Lake Pointe is Jason’s home church and where he started singing. Always nice to have him back.

What were your Christmas Eve services like this year?
