I made a mistake about Steven Curtis Chapman's situation. It was his daughter that died, not his son. The report I had seen on the news said son. I apologize for the mis-information.

Steven Curtis Chapman's son
My heart is in pain for Steven Curtis tonight as his 5yr old was killed today. I don't have all the details yet, but apparently his son was not seen and was hit by a vehicle while playing in the driveway of their home. Please pray for the family. SCC has been one of the greatest Christian artists of all time and a long time favorite of mine. I know his heart for God and I can't even imagine the pain the entire family is feeling. I have had the honor of working with SCC several times and he is just a genuine as you would imagine him to be.

Tech Fiesta
A picture is worth a 1000 words...
Tech guys at their best. Don't you think that Damon, who is pictured on the right, looks a lot like this guy?

Wisdom Works
I'll jump in with los and his Creative Chaos today. We have started a new series called Wisdom Works, teaching from Proverbs. Brandon, our amazing lighting and stage designer, came up with a great stage feature using giant gears. All the graphics for our sermon incorporate gear blue prints as a back ground and tie it all together.
To give some perspective, the gears stand 22ft high. They were cut mostly by volunteers from 3/4" MDF. We then painted them and attached them to a simple frame to hang them from our lighting truss. Here is another picture Brandon took on his phone.
